Yellow Sapphire (Pukhraj) is said to be the most precious and beneficial stone out of all the nine Navratnas. It comes from the Corundum mineral family. Pukhraj gemstone is associated with the Jupiter planet or the Lord Bhraspati which is known as the ‘Guru’ of the nine planets. In our solar system, Jupiter is the heaviest planet. There are many other names also of this stone such as Topaz Stone, Pushkaraj (in Sanskrit), Peetamani, Guru Ratan, and Pushparagam Stone.
